Replacing the prop zinc on Mikhaya.

     When I hauled out in Nov-Dec 03, my prop zinc was gone (you only see the ss washer in the picture).  I don't really know just how long a zinc will last cause I have made so many electrical changes on the boat that could effect it.  I do plan on monitoring it closely this year. 

     The Outer nut had a locking cotter pin that was removed.  After that the SS nut was unscrewed.

     The zinc was in place but not secured, just a form fit.  I can't help but think how I would have done this underwater.

Installed and ready for the bottom paint.
