I began installing the R O unit today. After removing the facial of the upper starboard bunk I laid out the parts and began the installation.

The HP pump will be closest to the switch panel. The RO tube will be below in the three small lockers.  I removed the partitions opening up the entire unit.  The control panel is installed in the hole left by the old radio. The filters and raw water pump will go in the hanging locker and get the water from the thru hull fitting used by the head.  I am well pleased by the service provided by the folks at Pro Watermaker.  If you have a problem they are there to help.

Taking the path of the water after leaving the strainer it goes through two filters to remove particles that would damage the RO filter.  To the H.P. Pump, This pump as well as the complete system runs on 110 volts.  From the pump to the RO filter, from here the drinking water goes through a UV system to a 5 gallon holding tank, when full the overflow goes to the forward water tank.  The 5 gallon tank is used to flush the unit after use since no chemicals are added at this time.  The brine and flush water goes to the waste manifold and overboard.
