I found my Jabsco Raw Water Pump leaking. I though it was the gasket, but after replacement it was still leaking. I removed it and started searching for replacement/repair options. I sent it off to a Marine Pump place in Ft Lauderdale, FL for an estimate. Bad news...beyond repair. They sent it back to be all apart and cleaned. So I searched the internet for a the best price for a new one. Found a Jabsco 2620 for $180. All other prices were $230 and above.
Replaced the hoses, fitting and hose-clamps. This pump is mounted up-side down on my engine so I can change the rubber wheel from the front of the engine. Connected up the hoses and ran the engine for three hours. No leaks! |
