| Since last correspondence, we added an Airex wind
generator and doubled the batteries.
Last winter was spent in the Exumas. The wind generator in the trade winds provided enough power for the refrigerator and ice cube maker without ever running the engine. The picture attached was taken on Raritan Bay, south of New York Harbor where our boat is kept in the summer. |
Ray Schmidt has just upgraded Express Mail
and launched her
as Sun Dancer

Entire boat exterior was crazed. AWLGRIP applied to topsides by roller and tipping. Deck is primed and will be AWLGRIPed soon. Sailing comes first. Replaced Atomic 4 with Yanmar 3YM30. Acquired boat as Express Mail, but changed name back to original as built. |
